By infusing Asian elements, the brand adds a touch of modernity and versatility that appeals to the dynamic tastes of Asian consumers. This fusion of cultural influences ensures that Rollercoaster stands out in a crowded fashion market, offering unique and stylish clothing options for women who appreciate both Italian sophistication and Asian contemporary fashion. Rollercoaster celebrates real women, using diverse models to showcase their clothing collections. By doing so, they challenge societal beauty standards and promote the idea that every woman is beautiful in her own way.

Founder

Valentina Monzoni, class 1984, is the founder and designer behind the Rollercoaster collection. Born and raised in Italy, she developed a deep passion for fashion from young age. At the age of 15 she started to work, after school, in a women clothes shop in her city and over the years she has made a career and began to choose the collections to sell in different shops in her city.
At the age of eighteen she started travelling for work around the world and she relocated to Asia with her family in 2017. In 2020, Valentina opened her own Consulting Agency, collaborating with Italian artists to promote their work in Asia. This venture allowed her to combine her love for fashion with her artistic inclinations, creating a platform for Italian artists to gain recognition in a new market. Valentina's love for fashion and her desire to experiment with different styles inspired her to modify her own clothes, adding her personal touch and creating a signature look. This passion for customization and individuality became the driving force behind her decision in the fashion industry.

Her journey as a designer took a significant turn when she found herself pondering over what to wear one night. Instead of simply selecting an outfit, she began to sketch her ideal ensemble. This moment of creativity and self-expression sparked the inception of her first collection.
Driven by a desire to create garments that were not only accessible to everyone but also environmentally sustainable, Valentina set out to differentiate her collection from the offerings of the local market. Her Italian heritage played a significant role in her design process, as she sought to infuse her creations with an unmistakable Italian style. Additionally, her search for fabrics that evoked memories of her childhood and personal growth added a sentimental touch to her designs.
Through her Rollercoaster collection, she has successfully blended her love for fashion, customization, and sustainability, creating a unique brand that resonates with individuals from all walks of life.

SUSTAINABILITY

What is Slow Fashion?
Slow fashion is a philosophy that promotes a more thoughtful and considered approach to clothing. It encourages consumers to be mindful of their purchasing decisions, opting for timeless, durable pieces that will stand the time. Slow fashion focuses on quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

The Benefits of Slow Fashion:
1. Environmental Sustainability: Slow fashion aims to minimize the negative impact of the fashion industry on the environment. By choosing sustainable materials, reducing waste, and embracing ethical production methods, slow fashion helps to mitigate pollution and conserve resources.

2. Ethical Production: Slow fashion values fair labor practices and ensures that workers are treated fairly throughout the supply chain. By supporting brands that prioritize fair wages, safe working conditions, and workers' rights, you contribute to creating a more equitable fashion industry.

3. Quality and Durability: Slow fashion garments are made to last. They are crafted with attention to detail, using-quality high materials and superior construction techniques. This not only ensures longevity but also reduces the need for frequent replacements, ultimately saving you money in the long run.

4. Timeless Style: Slow fashion rejects the notion of fleeting trends and instead focuses on timeless designs. By investing in classic and versatile pieces, you can create a wardrobe that transcends seasons, reducing the urge to constantly chase the latest fashion fads.
Slow fashion offers a sustainable and mindful alternative to the fast fashion industry. By embracing this approach, you can contribute to reducing environmental impact, supporting fair labor practices, and cultivating a timeless and conscious wardrobe. Remember, every small step towards slow fashion counts, so start making informed choices today and join the movement towards a more sustainable future.
